Talking to our stakeholders

Having defined our issues, our next step is to test and validate our assumptions with our stakeholders in a more structured way. We've already started doing this with our employees and with our customers but elsewhere we need to make a start. Overall, this is an area where we can and need to do a lot a better. Here are some of the stakeholders we'll be engaging with, and what we'll be asking them, to make sure we're on the right track:

• Employees - are we treating you well, and acting responsibly towards you and on your behalf?
• Customers - are we acting responsibly towards you and delivering the service you want?
• The wider Virgin Group of companies - are we aligned with what you're doing and helping drive progress on CR across the Group?
• Government / Regulators - which issues do you feel are important?
• Suppliers - are you prepared to work with us to become more responsible?
• Competitors - how can we work together on issues of concern to us as an industry?
• Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) - how can we do better?
• Local Communities - are we focusing on the right issues?
• Media - is what we're doing exciting and worth talking about?
• CR Commentators/ thought-leaders - are we on the right track?
