Cheryl and Harvey: Not together
The former So Solid Crew rapper boasted in an interview in Now magazine, that he and Cheryl had a fling after she split with Ashley Cole and during the time she was linked to dancer Derek Hough.
But it seems Cheryl herself was unaware of any 'secret relationship' and took to her Twitter page to laugh off the former footballer's claims.
She wrote: 'Was this "relationship" happening in your head @harveyofficial ?! Are you smoking something ?..'
Harvey batted back with: 'Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans.'
'I had your back @cherylcole untill you sent that shit dissapointed [sic] in you if the public seen these emails you would end up with egg on your face.'
Continuing his defence, Harvey added: 'And let's get this straight @cherylcole I don't need no hype of you! I'd rather go broke and work in sainsburys than talk about your personal shit.'
But Cheryl was still baffled, writing back: '@harveyofficial I think I've met you once maybe twice at public events and With your wife !! #s**tjustgetsweirder.'
And if having one Girl Aloud on his back wasn't enough, Harvey now has Cheryl's band mate Nicola Roberts to contend with. Wading into the drama last night, Nicola tweeted in response to Harvey's claims he had proof of a fling: 'Emails..?? I think someone's been having you on mate...'
She added the hashtag: '#shedoesntdoemailsshedoesphonesex'
Blimey. We're liking seeing the return of Cheryl's feisty Geordie spirit, it's been absent for too long.
And if Harvey's claims of having proof of a relationship are true, we're sure it won't stay hidden for long.
All this Twitter ranting is pretty ironic considering in his Now magazine interview, Harvey said he'd never disclose any words that were said between the two in private. 'It's personal.. When Cheryl reads this, she'll be like: 'Aww, he was loyal to me.' Err, yeah right.
