Wanted will spend NY with Rihanna

The Wanted are keen to get Rihanna drunk and sing karaoke with her on New Year's Eve (31.12.11).

The British boy band and the Bajan beauty are set to play at an intimate gig for a host of VIPs in Barbados on the big night, and group member Nathan Sykes thinks Siva Kaneswaran - who gave Rihanna his phone number the last time they met - would be most likely to get a kiss from the pop star.

Nathan said: 'We might get her drunk and get her on karaoke if we're lucky. Siva is definitely the most likely to get a kiss with her.'

As well as being very keen to party with Rihanna after the concert, The Wanted - who are also made up of who Max George, Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker - also would like to make music with her.

Siva exclusively told BANG Showbiz: 'It would be nice if we could to hook up with her but she'll probably have about 20 bodyguards around her - we've only got two! But who knows, we'll work first, play later. It would be great to collaborate with her though.'

The boy band will have no trouble being recognised by Rihanna on New Year's Eve as Siva revealed the last time they met she recalled seeing their names 'everywhere' during a stint in the UK.

He added: 'Rihanna will definitely remember us, the last time we met her she said, "I see you guys everywhere in the UK, you're everywhere." So that was great. And Enrique Iglesias said that too which was nice.'
