Subscribing to a newsgroup in Outlook Express

1. Open Outlook Express, now select the news server news.virginmedia.com:
   
   
   
2. You will now be presented with the box below. Press Yes:
   
   
   
3. Your computer will now download a list of the available newsgroups from the Virgin Media server:
   
   
   
4. Once complete you will be able to see all the newsgroups available to you:
   
   
   
5. You can now either scroll and see what's available or type in the Display newsgroups which contain: a topic of interest.
6. Once you have found a newsgroup you wish to view highlight it and press Subscribe:
   
   
   
7. You can subscribe to as many newsgroups as you like, or return later to add more.
8. Once you have finished subscribing press OK.
9. You will now see a list of your subscribed newsgroups. To view the content of the groups, you can select the title and the posting will appear in the preview pane.

Now you start to use newsgroups fully, including reading and posting messages.
