We’ve all heard the expression ‘it’s raining cats and dogs’, but in some parts of the world it’s been more a case of raining fish, frogs and even cows.
We take a look at some of the strangest things to have fallen out of the sky.
Up to 100 dead birds have been discovered in a front garden in Somerset, after they quite literally fell from the sky.
The starlings had blood coming from their beaks and had broken feet and wings. The RSPCA has so far failed to find a reason for the birds’ deaths, but disease, toxic chemicals, poison gas clouds and flying into a building or power lines are all considered unlikely.
Conspiracy theorists believe the planet's current state of unrest, earthquakes and a change of the world's axis tilt in particular, could be to blame.
