It may only be the size of a cigarette packet but the PD-100 Black Hornet nanocopter could soon revolutionise the military.
The tiny flying machine, which is smaller than a toy helicopter, is equipped with a miniscule digital camera, 4in rotor blades and can fly at speeds of up to 20mph.
Experts believe the Hornet will be valuable in seeing within hostile areas or inside contaminated buildings.
