Gordon never says a word but his foxy cohort Alyx (above) does lots of talking and is one of the most fully-formed game characters in history. You’ll genuinely care for her wellbeing as well as that of her heroic father, a key player in the ongoing events.
Important for different reasons is the sinister G-Man, a mysterious figure with a pivotal role in the apocalyptic mayhem unfolding all around.
