Weird gaming stories

#4: Pac-Man and the President

After bagging a Pac-Man world record score of 6,131,940 points in 1982, eight-year-old Jeffrey R. Yee received a letter of congratulations from President Ronald Reagan. However, debate remains over whether Yee actually managed the score as it only possible if the player passes the infamous "Split-Screen Level" - a level no gamer has apparently ever been able to complete.

#5: The Warcraft diet

Gaming doesn't have to be bad for your physique. One gamer decided to combine his love of World Of Warcraft with his need to scale down his unhealthy 19st bulk. His solution? Strapping his keyboard to his exercise bike and pedalling in front of his HDTV screen while playing. Over three months, the man pedalled for 100 hours and lost 41 pounds. He named his technique "warbiking"!

A Halo suit

#6: Suits you, Master Chief

A Halo fan in Canada has taken his obsession with the game to the ultimate level - by creating a real-life Halo suit. Troy Hurtubise came up with the suit, which he named Trojan, and says it is the "first ballistic, full exoskeleton body suit of armor". Trojan is said to have stood up to knives, bullets, light explosives, clubs and even a round from an elephant gun.
