Fifa 07 is coming!

The World Cup might be over but a football fix is never far away. And to coincide with the new season, EA Sports' new and improved footie gaming masterpiece, Fifa 07, is ready for release on 29th September.

And we like the sound of brand new features like the ‘EA SPORTS™ Interactive Leagues’. Go online and you can represent your club against rivals from the Premiership, Bundesliga, French League 1 or Mexican 1st Division, playing your matches according to the real-world schedules. Meanwhile, crowd reactions have been improved with goals and forward play causing your fans to raise their voices – dip into bad play and the terrace volume will reduce into a frustrated murmur!

New intelligent AI means gameplay has improved too with passing and positioning enhanced and you can now apply topspin and backspin to those all-important set-plays.

The manager mode has also been updated with player values and wages made even more realistic. Your decisions now have even more of a bearing on your players’ performance and well-being as well, while smarter CPU decisions make pitting your wits against rival managers even more of a battle for the silverware.

Fifa 07 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PSP and PC is out on 29th September. It will also be available for download via mobile phones on all major mobile operators.
