Creating new email addresses
You can create additional mailboxes in the household accounts section of My Virgin Media.
To get the most out of Virgin Media Mail, the best way to use is it to access webmail via our website.
You can also use your @virginmemia.com address with email programs like Outlook Express or Mail for Mac.

However, there are many more features available when you use your mail via our website, and remember that you can access your mail with your username and password on any computer connected to the internet.
Managing your mailbox
It’s a good idea to keep checking your mailbox regularly. If you don’t look at your Virgin Media mailbox on a regular basis (at least once every 90 days), it will be automatically deleted and you could lose your email address.
Mailbox storage
Virgin Media mailboxes come with a massive 7000 megabytes of storage capacity, so there’s no need to delete old mail – you can store it in your mailbox for as long as you want. If you access your mail via access webmail, your entire archive will always be available, wherever you connect to the internet, and you will be able to search for old emails using our advanced search features.
