Setting up virginmedia.com addresses on Mail for Mac OS X 10.3

To set up Mail for Mac:

1. Start up Mail.
2. From the Mail menu, select Preferences, and then select Accounts.
3. Click on Create Account.
4. Set your Account type to POP.
5. In the description box, type Virgin Broadband.
6. In the Email Address text box, type in your email address: your.name@virginmedia.com where your.name is the first part of your email address.
7. Type how you would like your name to appear in outgoing mails in the Name box.
8. In the Host Name text box, type: pop3.virginmedia.com
9. In the Username and Password boxes, type in your email address and your password.
10. In the SMTP Host text box, type: smtp.virginmedia.com
11. Click on the Account Options tab, and make sure that the option Delete messages on server after downloading is ticked.
12. Click on the OK button.
