Asked for a username and password when retrieving email?

This normally happens when you’re logging into your email account and have accidentally mistyped your username or password. It’s easy to fix…

Try the following:

  • Delete your username and password from the login box, and re-type them, making sure that you are typing in both your username and password in lowercase characters (in other words, use 'a' and not 'A').
  • Make sure that you are typing in your Virgin Media username, and not the email alias that you may have created in Selfcare as your login name.
