We’ve been made aware that some of our customers have been sent a fake e-mail message that appears to come from blueyonder asking for various personal details.
If you receive this message disregard the email and delete it. Under no circumstances reply providing any personal details.
This is an email scam (often referred to as 'phishing') where fraudsters send out an email that appears to come from a legitimate business trying to fool customers into supplying them with personal, financial or other private information.
Copy of the fake email message:
Dear blueyonder.co.uk Webmail Subscriber,
To complete your blueyonder.co.uk Webmail account, you must reply to this email immediately and enter your password here (.........)
Failure to do this will immediately render your email address deactivated from our database.
