If you want to override Virgin Talk with a dialler or a four digit phone number, you can. We recommend that you make all your UK local and national calls using your Virgin Talk service as they are included within your monthly subscription.
Since Virgin Talk is currently available only as part of a Broadband Bundle (and is not available stand-alone), you can only cancel the whole Bundle (consisting of Virgin Broadband and Talk). If you cancel a Bundle during a "cooling off period" you will be able to do so without being charged. If you cancel during a Minimum Contract Period (outside of a "cooling off period") you will need to pay outstanding contract charges up to the end of your Minimum Contract Period. Bundle cancellations occurring beyond the end of their Minimum Contract Period can be effected without charge.

Yes, there is a minimum contract period of 12 months. This applies to your Unlimited Broadband & Talk Bundle of which your Virgin Talk service is a part.
