What goes in the boxes?

Site Label - This is a description of the site and can be anything you like e.g. Personal Web Space;
Host address - This is the ftp server address: ftp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk;
User Id - This is your alias name as chosen in the Self Care section of our website;
Password - This is the password as chosen in the Self Care section of our website;

Once you have filled in this information click on the OK button and you will be taken back to the first screen. You now have all the information you need to copy files to your ftp directory.

You now need to connect to Virgin Media so that that you can upload your files. Connect as you would normally either using the Virgin Media software or Dialup Networking.

Start the Cuteftp program and highlight your connection e.g. Personal Web Space and click on the connect button.

After a short time you will see a login screen where you need to click ok. You then see a screen like the one below:

Once you have got to this stage you can drag and drop files from your local computer to the remote computer and vice versa. Using Cuteftp is very similar to using Windows Explorer. Cuteftp allows you to create, delete, rename, change attributes etc just as you can in Windows Explorer.
