Make sure you follow each step in the order listed, or you may have problems with your wireless network.
Step 1 First disconnect the power cable from the cable modem.
Step 2 If your cable modem is connected to your PC, disconnect it. You no longer need this cable.
Step 3 Place your wireless router close to your cable modem and near a wall power socket, using the stand included if you need to.
Step 4 Connect one end of the yellow Ethernet cable to the 'Internet' port on our wireless router (the label is on the back of the router). Then connect the other end of the yellow Ethernet cable to your cable modem.
Step 5 Connect your wireless router and cale modem to the power.
