One very easy (and tasty) way to stay healthy...
Ingredients
  • 50g of fresh blueberries
  • 50g of raspberries
  • Punnet of strawberries
  • One cup of cranberry juice (the purest you can find - check the ingredients for the juice percentage)
Method
Making this delicious, nutritious drink couldn't be simpler. No chopping needed! Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend for one minute until smooth and juicy. If you wish, you could make this into a refreshing summer smoothie by adding a cup of frozen yogurt or a scoop of raspberry sorbet ice cream. Mmmm. Nutritional values Berries, especially cranberries, are well-known for maintaining the urinary tract and digestive system as well as being the kidney's best friend. As well as these ingredients being high in vitamin C they are also high in soluble fibre which helps protect the body against heart disease and helps lower cholesterol. Strawberries are brilliant for your health as they are said to be anti-cancerous and anti-bacterial. These red delights also contain vitamins C, A and K.
