Baking soda cleans stained cups
Sometimes the old ones are the best, so next time you’ve got stubborn stains or tricky surfaces to clean you might want to take a leaf out of grandma’s book with these tried and tested remedies. They really work.
What: Baking soda
Good for: Helps remove tannin in coffee and tea stains, brings stainless steel to a sparkling finish and neutralises odours, making it ideal for scrubbing the dishwasher or fridge.
Why: Baking soda forms a paste when mixed with water, vinegar or lemon juice to lift off stains and, even better, it’s not corrosive like harsh chemical alternatives.
