Chloe Madeley pictured apparently smoking cannabis
Photos have emerged of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan’s daughter Chloe Madeley apparently smoking cannabis at a party. The 21-year-old, whose parents have boasted in the past about their daughter’s “anti-drugs” stance, has issued a public apology for her behaviour.
‘I am really sorry,’ she said. ‘I was really stupid. I regret doing what I did and have learnt my lesson. I am really sorry for any embarrassment I have caused my family.’
Both Richard and Judy have both admitted trying cannabis in their youth. In a statement to News of the World, who published the picture, they couple are quoted as saying “We’ve obviously spoken to Chloe and whilst we – like most parents – are aware that kids her age sometimes experiment, it is always a bad idea.”
Britain’s teenagers are more likely to take drugs than any other teenagers in Europe, a shocking new report has revealed.
The report claims as many as one in twenty schoolchildren have tried cocaine – that’s around 200,000 teenagers.
So what drugs might your kids be exposed to? What are their effects and how do you spot the signs your teenager is using?
