Dozens of BBC stars have been told to expect pay cuts of up to 40%. As the corporation desperately tries to save money, some of the station's biggest names have been told to expect slashes to their mammoth salaries.

Strictly Come Dancing ringmaster Bruce Forsyth has agreed to take a 25% to host the next series of the dancing show.
The 81-year-old showbiz legend was receiving £660,000 to present the show, but under new BBC pay cuts, will now receive £500,000 for the seventh series, which is due to start later this year.
