Catherine Zeta-Jones has become Britain's highest-paid actress after receiving £3,700 a second for a seven-minute shampoo advert.
The ad, for haircare product Lux, netted Zeta-Jones £1.5 million, or £3,691 per second to be exact, but will only be shown on TV in the Far East.
