How much?!
Millions of us feel we pay too much for many of the goods and services on offer. Here are some of the things which make us feel hard done by.
Take a read then vote on your biggest rip-off of 2008, and don't forget to tell us your stories of outrageous rip-offs as well!
We're constantly encouraged to go green and use public transport, but public transport can cost you an arm and a leg.
Get caught without an oyster card in London and you could be paying £4.00 for even the shortest of tube journeys; pound for pound, a trip from Convent Garden to Leicester Square is more expensive than the Orient Express. Even a trip from London to Birmingham can set you back £100 - and you're still not guaranteed a seat.
What you can do:
Cycle instead for short journeys. Get smart and pay for London tube journeys with an Oyster card. Book train journeys in advance for a cheaper rate or try buying two singles rather than a return as this often works out to be less expensive.
