Britain's most expensive restaurants

Did you know that London is now the most expensive place to eat out? It now boasts the top ten most expensive restaurants and it's more expensive to eat here than in New York, Paris and Tokyo.

So, just how much can you expect to pay? Unsurprisingly, two of the top ten belong to a certain Mr Ramsay...

Average cost: £107 per head

We kick off with Gordon Ramsay's first entry on the list, and possibly his most well known establishment. It'll cost you over £100 a head to dine here - that's if you're lucky enough to get a reservation in the first place.
