Pat Morita aka Mr Miyagi
Say the name ‘Pat Morita’ to anyone and you’ll likely be met with a puzzled look. Say the name while performing a crane kick or 'wax on, wax off' motion and you’ll get a more positive response. Believe it or not, Morita was Oscar-nominated for his zen-like role as mentor Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid.
