About as sexy as Anne Widdecombe doing a lapdance while reciting N-Dubz lyrics in a sultry voice. If you can imagine such a thing.
Although it's attracted a sizeable cult following over the years, Showgirls is undeniably utter pants – especially when wooden Saved By The Bell star Elizabeth Berkley isn't wearing any. Paul Verhoeven's movie provoked howls of derision for all the simulated sex shoehorned into the plot and collected a record 13 Razzie nominations. The nadir comes during an infamous swimming pool scene with Berkley's stripper and Kyle MacLachlan's casino owner. So bad it's almost good... but don't take that as a recommendation.
