Synopsis

Big-budget alien invasion sci-fi action thriller starring Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez. When the world's biggest cities are subjected to a coordinated surprise attack from a hostile extraterrestrial invasion, it is up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his newly-formed platoon to provide the first line of defence against the alien intruders as they strike Los Angeles.

"Like the similar Skyline, this is full of borrowed ideas, but with a bigger budget, a stronger cast and much more action, guns and explosions, it's relentlessly entertaining. But it still treads on very familiar ground."
