British comedy in which a family attempts to deal with the bizarre aftermath of a stranger's death at their dinner table. Tom Thompson (Chris Langham) is a slightly world-weary middle-aged man, married to aspiring poet Sophie (Amanda Hadingue), who seems mainly to be weary of her husband. The ordinary suburban life of the pair is turned on its head one day when, in a rare moment of impulsiveness, Tom invites an eccentric stranger, Blake (Colin Hurley), to dinner. Blake is something of an adult innocent, and the family protest that his death at their table was just as innocent. However, will the police and the surrounding community believe their version of events?

Our review
"A strange but intriguing dark comedy drama moc-doc starring Chris Langham and Simon Amstell? It might sound odd but it’s a superbly effective, original British film."
