"Tarantino's half of the 'Grindhouse Experience' is a self-indulgent, ultra-violent, blood-splattering mess – nonetheless, it’s still a simple idea executed well with a brilliantly sleazy Kurt Russell. The QT self-references do grow tiresome though."
