Synopsis

Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) is the world's most famous movie star, whilst divorcée William Thacker (Hugh Grant) owns an ailing travel bookstore in his local neighbourhood of Notting Hill.

"Frightfully nice romantic comedy about the price of fame. Curtis's script crackles and Rhys Ifans steals every scene, but the failure to mention the famous carnival says a lot about its limitations."
