When he is double-crossed by his crew during a heist and left for dead, Parker determines to make them pay for their actions. He follows the gang to Palm Beach, where it is planning its biggest heist ever. Donning the guise of a rich Texan, Parker finds an unlikely partner-in-crime in Leslie (Lopez), a sexy insider with a bone to pick and plenty to prove. Together, they hatch a plan to hijack the heist and savour the sweet taste of revenge.

"While Jason Statham goes about his typically reliable action man schtick, Taylor Hackford's take on Donald E. Westlake's character is surprisingly hammy, convoluted and achingly generic. Still, it's solid Friday night entertainment."
