Synopsis
Documentary following a group of Leeds teenagers as they take part in Brave New Voices, America's most prestigious poetry slam event. The film follows the lives and words of the multi-ethnic Leeds youth poetry team as they prepare for a transformational journey of a lifetime, taking them from the red-bricked back streets of inner-city North England to centre stage in front of the White House in Washington DC.
