Fresh from his outing in the casinos of Ocean's Thirteen Matt Damon has been cited to play the fearless leader of the Starship Enterprise, Captain James T. Kirk in a new Star Trek movie. Adrian Brody has been rumoured play Spock.
Puss In Cinemas
Antonio Banderas has hinted that there may be a Shrek spin-off movie Puss’n’Boots in the pipe line. The movie would be based around the early life of the Banderas voiced killer/cute sword-wielding fur ball Puss, before he crossed paths with the big green guy.
Scorsese and De Niro back together
Having made some of the best movies of all time (Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver to name but a few) the duo of director Martin Scorsese and actor Robert De Niro are joining forces again for another mob movie Frankie Machine. This will be their first joint project in twelve years.

Thundercats to the big screen
Surfing on the Transformers, G.I. Joe, He-Man wave of Eighties nostalgia Warner Brothers have announced plans for a Thundercats big screen venture. Whether this will be a live action, CGI animated or cartoon movie is yet to be confirmed. "Thundercats, Ho!"
