Guilty pleasures - Godzilla

Cower at the behemoth of movie monster-dom that is Godzilla! Yes, this week we are celebrating Roland Emmerich's epic 90s disaster movie which featured Guilty Pleasure favourite Matthew Broderick in fine form!

The director of Independence Day and the star of Ferris Bueller's Day Off probably don't seem like the most likely pair to make a movie together, but in 1998 that's exactly what they did! Roland Emmerich not only got Matthew Broderick on board for a remake of the classic monster movie, Godzilla, but also Jean Reno, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer. It may be gleaming with Hollywood sheen, but we couldn't help but get swept up in the sheer carnage of Godzilla!
