Synopsis

World War Two action adventure based on the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the squadron of African-American fighter pilots who overcame both American racism and the German Luftwaffe to prove their courage and skills in the air. In 1944, the all-black 332 Fighter Group led by Major Stance (Cuba Gooding Jr), having hitherto been kept on the ground and refused actual combat on the grounds of subservience and segregation, is called into air duty under the guidance of Colonel A.J. Bullard (Terrence Howard).
