David Bowie and Bing Crosby
When the producers of Bing Crosby's 1977 Christmas special asked David Bowie to duet with the ageing crooner on Little Drummer Boy, he responded with a flat "no." But after a few musical tweaks – another melody, new lyrics – and renaming the song Peace On Earth, Dave was ready to play ball.
