Back in the day: Spandau Ballet
They looked destined to disappear into obscurity until Spandau Ballet announced their reunion earlier this year. In the eighties every school boy wanted to be them and every school girl wanted to be their girlfriend (there would be a never-ending supply of eyeliner and frilly shirts). But the five-piece split acrimoniously after three of them tried to sue songwriter Gary Kemp for a share of the royalties.
