Popstars: where are they now?
Sonique continued to make music after her initial success waned but faced a much sterner battle than trying to bag another hit when, in 2009, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat the disease and has since gone on to record a charity single to raise funds for Cancer Research. She returned this year with new material in the shape of her Sweet Vibrations album.
