Plan B - Ill Manors

The new track from multi-platinum rap star Plan B, aka Ben Drew, is an obnoxious blast of righteous anger aimed at the fallout from last summer’s riots.

What turns it into a legitimate protest song is Drew’s awareness that he needs to back up his disappointment with the political class with action. He gave an interview with 1Xtra laying out his plans: "This is just the first step. Let me make my point first and raise the issue, and then if anybody wants to talk to me about how I think we can change these things I'm ready." An album and film, both called Ill Manors, are set to follow, along with plans for social activism.
