Michael Jackson wanted Diana Ross to take custody of his children if his own mother was not able to look after them. His will revealed that he left his entire estate – worth around £300 million – to a family trust. He nominated Ross ahead of his ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Elsewhere in the document, which was drawn up in 2002, Jackson stated: "I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson."
