It's official - Leona Lewis has cracked America. The X Factor winner this week became the first British woman to top the US pop chart (the Billboard Hot 100) since Kim Wilde in 1987. A recent appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show kick-started the singer's promotional tour of the country's biggest TV chat shows, which will also include spots on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It's not an entirely British success story, however - Bleeding Love, her chart-topping single, was written and produced by Americans and recorded in California.
