France's NRJ Music Awards, held in Cannes on 26th January 2008, celebrated the best of international pop. The night's big winners included Britney, who sadly wasn't present to receive her International Album Of The Year award (for Blackout), and Rihanna, who won International Song Of The Year (for her single Don't Stop The Music, which outperformed Umbrella in the French singles chart).
