Both were failures slated by the judges but enjoyed fame beyond their auditions. Hung’s flat vocals helped him become a YouTube celebrity, a regular on chat shows and a role in the sit-com Arrested Development. The Transylvanian Twins had a novelty hit with a song about touching their bums, filed for bankruptcy and were reduced to dating Liberal MPs.
