GWAR
They may look like a bunch of overgrown kids dressed in rubber ogre suits, but shock rockers GWAR have found relative levels of fame through appearances on Jerry Springer and The Joan Rivers Show, amongst others, where they were wheeled in as an example of outlandishness. The only thing weird about Oderus Urungus, Flattus Maximus, Beefcake The Mighty, Jizmak Da Gusha and Balsac The Jaws Of Death, as they prefer to be known, is their rather frivolous dress sense; musically speaking, their brand of grunty pantomime metal is disappointingly pedestrian.
