Trachtenberg Family Slideshow Players
TFSP are a family trio consisting of dad Jason Trachtenburg (guitar, piano, vocals), mum Tina Piña Trachtenburg (slide projector operator) and young daughter Rachel Piña Trachtenburg (drums and backing vocals). The premise is simple - they scavenge for discarded or second-hand photo slides and write songs that turn the lives of anonymous strangers into "pop-rock musical exposés based on the contents of these slide collections". The result is a quirky blend of upbeat, kitschy pop with lyrics that sound like surreal advertising jingles.
