Venetian Snares
Electronic producer Aaron Funk has been responsible for some of the most aurally vicious, brain pummelling music you're likely to hear this side of the apocalypse. Some call it breakcore, others glitchcore drum'n'bass - all you need to know is that Mr Funk machine guns his gabba-esque beats and ear-splitting cut-up samples through a spectrum of unusual time signatures, creating a brutal, dissonant and at times haunting concoction which is most definitely not for the faint of heart.
