Ween
Gene and Dean Ween (aka Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo) are famous for some of the most whacked-out music to leak into the mainstream since Frank Zappa. Goofball lyrics and nauseatingly pitch-mangled guitars and vocals take the listener on a journey through a melée of musical genres, often by way of parody and deconstruction. To some, it's the worst kind of self-indulgent drivel, to others, brilliantly psychedelic satire. We'll let you decide.
