16 year old Chris Brown may have topped the US Hot 100 chart for weeks on end with this debut single, but over here the marketing push seems to have been decidedly muted. Nevertheless, this is one of those songs which should do well enough on its own merits. Hugely in-demand producer Scott Storch is the man behind the dramatic synth stabs and catchy club beats that propel the track, which although rather too similar to Usher's Yeah (which he also produced) for anyone's liking, are the key ingredients for success. Chris has a solid voice, sure, but without Storch behind the desk it's unlikely he'd amount to much, to which the patchier moments of his debut LP pay testament.
