Maybe we've just been turned off by the tiresome self-aggrandizing, but this first single from Milian's third album - the modestly-titled So Amazin' - is a weak re-entry into the market for her, and no match for 2004's Dip It Low. An uptempo club track aimed at the R&B dancefloor, it leaves all trace of invention (both musical and lyrical) at the door and instead relies heavily upon a looped sample of Jackie Moore's 1973 hit Sweet Charlie Babe, while guest Young Jeezy is drafted in to knock out a monotone rap featuring such Fiddy-esque banalities as "This is thug motivation / It's just part of the program". Still, it's better than J-Lo... but only just.
