Possibly the most unassuming woman ever to be described as a "multi-platinum diva", Gabrielle hides behind the shades for another super-glossy MOR pop ballad. Of course, it's not cutting edge - this will fit her fans like a well-worn glove - but lyrically there's just enough thoughtfulness for this to sit on the right side of maudlin. It's all rather pleasant and soothing, but it's a shame that she doesn't go in for at least an occasional surprise.
