This fifth and presumably final single from Stars Of CCTV is one of the most down-tempo moments on Hard-Fi's debut album, tinged with echoey reggae vibes that plunge head-first into an anthemic, heart-swelling chorus. It's a surprise that this wasn't released earlier, to be honest, given that it shows a slightly different, more balladeering face to the band than anything to hit the singles chart from them so far. Admittedly, it's pretty overwrought stuff, and also rather bitter ("Your face makes me want to be sick", sings Richard Archer), but if the band can learn the value of a little under-statement in time for their second LP, then it's sure to be worth the wait.
